Very thrilled to be able to announce that my first novel, The Cipher, has just been optioned for film by Carroll Brown (writer/producer) and Jonathan Levit (producer), who are men of magic in more than one way. May I say I am tres geeked? Oh yes.

Wow!!!! Double wow!!! What fantastic news. And a coincidence too, because I’m about twenty pages into The Cipher, and I’ve been thinking… ‘this would make such a fantastic screenplay’… and I was RIGHT! Congratulations Kathe. The only real surprise is that this took so long!

About darned time! I was picturing a film all the way through that book–it’s definitely filmable, and if they stick to the source, it should be wonderful.

Congratulations Kathe– that is wonderful news. Film is in your future, starting with the UNDER THE POPPY trailer!

Nobody is more geeked than we are, Kathe! Well, okay, we’ll call it a tie…
