A book so cleverly pitched that there are many hooked on the website named and devised to announce its coming, not to mention the marvellous animated book 'trailer' with its unforgettable, sticks-in-the-brain music that has had to suffice until Under the Poppy arrives 'in a bookstore near you!' And thinking on this, what will happen to the website once the book is out? Shall it become the the forum where the fans gather awaiting details of the next book signing, the tour dates of the stage adaptation or (and I'm 'projecting' here) the much anticipated announcement of the Hollywood three-picture deal or the HBO tele-series! Oh how we'll all pontificate on the casting and rage about who plays what. And how much fun we'll have assembling our own 'dream-lists' of players. Later on the cast can do exclusive interviews here and talk about how they prepared for their roles. There can be downloadable files of costume designs and models of intricate set designs. Oh it's going to be a blast!!! And now I must go and compose myself and await the announcement of the publication date with more dignity than can be summoned now I've worked myself into this UtP anticipatory frenzy!
