The trailer, part two

   Posted by: Kathe   in Performance

Assembling lights, camera, action for the Poppy trailer – that’s what we did this weekend. Here’s a quick look at our Rupert, whose real name is Jon. . .

The melding of craft and instinct that makes a performance – what a mystery, what a rush when you watch it at work. Seeing the actors create a pitch of emotion, of desire, then do it over and over again without it ever seeming forced or artificial – that’s fun. That’s acting. Bravo, Madison, Jon, and Julanne.

That was a lot of fun, I’m rather excited to see the final product. &you should have heard how many compliments I received fr that coat, also how quickly it became covered in cat hair as soon as i walked in to my apartment.

Ah, that coat was meant to be yours from the moment you slipped it on. . .I’m excited about the final, too, and loving the process – watching you guys work up close, my characters interpreted by real live actors – a first for me. I could definitely get used to this.
